Yoga The Most Effective Exercise to Stay Fit

Yoga is an age-old science of various disciplines of mind and body. It originated in India 2,500 years ago and is still in force in achieving overall health and well-being of every person, making it a regularity. The word yoga is based on the Sanskrit verb Yuja.

This means to connect, to culminate or to concur. It is the culmination of the mind and body or the culmination of Jiva and Shiva (the soul and the universal spirit). It is also the culmination of Purush and Prakriti (Yin and Yang). The term yoga has a very wide range. There are several schools of yoga.

There are many kinds of yoga such as Rajayoga, Bhaktiyoga, Karma Yoga, hatha yoga, and Dnyanayoga. These schools of yoga are not necessarily very different from each other. They are strands of the same fabric, woven into each other. For thousands of years, yoga is seen as an effective way to self-improvement and spiritual enlightenment.
