Apple Fruit Health Benefits

Apple is a fruit which is known to every one of us. And it is known not only by name, but because it offers many wonderful health benefits. It is nutritious and delicious fruit that everyone should eat. Apple, contains fiber, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, zinc, vitamin C and A and other important chemicals (based on USDA National Nutrient Database).

Apple also have some phenolic compounds (flavonoids) and boron. This fruit is low in calories and fat, but has a high water content. Vitamins are very important for our body to keep all of our daily activities. Vitamin C, which apple contain, creates a resistance to infections and improves our immune system.

Vitamin A, which is also present in the apple is good for the eyes, growth and repair of body tissues. Flavonoids, present in apple helps detoxify the body. It has antioxidant properties, which reduces the risk of diseases related to the respiratory system. Thereby it reduces the risk of developing lung cancer and other possible types of cancer, such as colon cancer, prostate cancer, etc.
